Seller Spotlight From Off‑the‑Shelf to Building a Brand: Michael B.’s Journey
Michael B. started watching Amazon videos on Facebook. He could see the opportunity, but he was slow to take it up. The more he looked, the more obvious it became: this was a way to build cash flow and an asset.
Getting started
Michael launched with GoLive using an off‑the‑shelf product. He had some early success. But then problems came – he didn’t have brand protection. That experience taught him a critical lesson. He knew then that he needed to develop his own brand with a proper product range.
His mission today
“To create innovative, quality products that not only look great but work for our customers.”
How he stands out
“The product has to be needed by the market – not what you think they need. Do your research. Differentiate your product visually to highlight your unique attributes and tell your brand story.”
His biggest win?
Coming runner‑up with his buddy and business partner, Sujana, in GoLive. “We pushed through a lot of barriers, deadlines and doubt to get a product out that proved not only that we could do it but also that the system worked.”
What the Tribe taught him
“Show up and never give up. No‑one is an overnight success – they just kept going. It is purely by being stubborn and pushing through that you will get there, with help from the community and great mentors.”
A Campfire moment he’ll never forget
“Ange going through the product research process using Titan Tools to find a Gothic Cat Tree niche was absolutely brilliant – top of funnel right down. I will never forget that.”
His advice for beginners
“Find a buddy that you can work with who will support you and complement your skills and make you accountable. Make sure they are fun to work with. Two heads are always better than one.”
